Andrew’s practice is concentrated on residential real estate, mortgage lending and commercial transactions, with a particular expertise in land development and condominium law.
Andrew has extensive experience in all aspects of property development acting for owners, developers, condominium corporations, municipalities, financiers, and landlords.
In addition to real estate, Andrew practices corporate law. He represents businesses of all sizes addressing all of their corporate needs including, creation of new corporations, financing their business, buying & selling their business, shareholder/partnership agreements, corporate reorganizations, corporate maintenance, business succession and general advice.
Andrew acts and advises a large number of professionals and professional corporations, including physicians, dentists, accountants and lawyers, establishing and maintaining Professional Corporations.
Andrew is a proud McGill University double graduate. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in 1994, Andrew attended the National Programme at the Faculty of Law, where, upon graduating with distinction in 1998, he obtained degrees in both Common and Civil Law (BCL & LL.B.).
A proud father of two young men, Andrew is married to Dr. Stacie Weber and was born and raised in Montreal. In his spare time he plays the drums in a local band, The Bailouts, who have competed several times at the MacLaren Art Center’s Battle of the Bands. Andrew loves to fish, watch NFL football and torture himself on the golf course.

Kathryn’s practice is focused on real estate and wills & estates.
Kathryn is a founding partner of Ain Whitehead LLP. Her practice is focused on two primary areas: Real Estate and Wills & Estates. In addition to residential real estate purchases, sales, and mortgages, her real estate practice has a particular emphasis on private mortgage lending and mortgage enforcement.
Regarding her Will practice, Kathryn assists clients by drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney for Property and Personal Care that reflect each client’s unique circumstances. Kathryn also has experience in complicated estate planning including primary and corporate wills, international wills, various testamentary trusts, such as Spousal, Family, and Henson, and Limited Powers of Attorney for Property for Professional Corporations.
Kathryn has assisted many families through the transition of losing a loved one. Her estate practice is focused on administration and involves assisting Estate Trustees through necessary court applications, accounting procedures, and dispositions to beneficiaries.
Kathryn originates from a farming community in Lambton County. She obtained her Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor. In addition to graduating with honours, she was a varsity athlete with the University's Indoor Track and Field Team, competing at the national and international levels.
Kathryn is very active in both the local legal community and Barrie community. She currently sits as the President of the Simcoe County Law Association, Vice-President of the Almaguin Area Municipal Joint Compliance Audit Committee, as a Board of Director for the Barrie Community Foundation where she Chairs the Fund Development Committee, and as a Board of Director for Gilda’s Club. She is the Past President of the Estate Planning Council of Simcoe County and Past President of the Barrie Real Estate Lawyers’ Association.

Graydon practices in the areas of corporate/commercial law and real estate.

Graydon advises his clients on all legal matters facing their business from formation to dissolution and has extensive experience acting for both buyers and sellers in the acquisition of a business.
Graydon’s real estate practice is focused on the acquisition, disposition development, financing, and leasing of commercial, residential and condominium properties. Graydon has developed substantial expertise acting for both landlords and tenants of all types of commercial properties in drafting and negotiating leases that fit his clients’ needs.
Graydon completed his law degree at the University of Western Ontario, after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Carleton University. After articling at a national firm in Ottawa he was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Ontario in 2011.
Graydon resides in Barrie with his wife and daughter and is active in the local community. He was the chair of the Simcoe County Young Professionals Association in 2019-2020 and was named their 2014 Young Professional of the Year. He is also a member of the Barrie Business Leaders, a local BNI chapter. In his spare time, Graydon is a mediocre golfer, curler and softball player. Graydon is a big baseball fan and has dreams of coming out of retirement to pitch for the Toronto Blue Jays.
